About the Author

Originally from Squamish, B.C., I am a married father of three kids.  My educational background is that of a teacher, medical research scientist and physician.  For years, I have taught senior biology, science and math up to the college level.  Then, I became a general internist and spent part of my time training medics with the Canadian military.  For fun, I obtained a pilot license and have flown small aircraft even across Canada.  Presently, I am a community internist in Ottawa, Ontario.
